Dennis Charles Krogh

Dennis Charles Krogh, the son of Charles Edwin and Charlotte Ruth Jensen Krogh, was born December 23, 1953, at the Audubon County Memorial Hospital in Audubon, Iowa and died June 10, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota at the age of 59 years, 5 months, and 17 days. Denny was baptized and confirmed at the Exira Lutheran Church in Exira, Iowa. He attended the Exira Community Schools graduating with the High School Class of 1972. During school he participated in Football, FFA, and 4-H. Denny farmed with his parent’s and also rented a farm east of Exira. They grew row crops and raised livestock. They purchased a farm in 1982. Later in 1992, Denny purchased his uncle and aunt, Dale and Elinor Krogh’s farm. Denny and Charles farrowed and finished hogs for many years. He enjoyed all phases of farming, raising corn, soy beans, and hay. He also enjoyed raising cow-calf herds. Denny was a member of the Exira Lutheran Church in Exira, Iowa. Denny was preceded in death by his father Charles E. Krogh. Survivors include his mother Charlotte Krogh of Exira, Iowa; his brothers: Terry and wife Charlene Krogh of New Providence, Iowa; Randall and wife Dottie Krogh of Atlantic, Iowa; his nieces and nephews: Kyle and wife Teri Krogh of Huxley, Iowa; Victoria Krogh of Atlantic, Iowa; Christopher Krogh of Atlantic; Randi Cranston of Atlantic; Tyler and wife Heather Beckel of Clarinda, Iowa; his grandnieces and grandnephews: Kale Krogh, Jace Krogh, Gage Krogh, and Bode Krogh all of Huxley; and Jackson Beckel of Clarinda; his uncle Leland Jones of Lohrville, Iowa; other relatives and many friends.

Cemetery:
Interment will be in the Exira Cemetery in Exira, Iowa.

Visitation:
The family will meet with friends Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. at the Kessler Funeral Home in Exira.

Service:
Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Steven Frock on Friday, June 14, 2013, at 10:30 A.M. at the Exira Lutheran Church in Exira, Iowa.
