Richard Lee Wulf

October 19, 1940 — January 4, 2019

Richard Lee Wulf, the son of Mary Ann (Nissen) Wulf and Arnold (Pat) William Wulf, was born October 19, 1940, and died January 4, 2019, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 78 years.
Rick grew up in Iowa and served in the National Guard before locating to San Antonio, Texas, where he was employed as a salesman before retiring. His family and friends enjoyed his cooking, stories of growing up on the farm, gentle nature and calm demeanor. He was a man of few words but always willing to lend an ear, a hand or a word of encouragement. He had an infectious laugh and mischievous twinkle in his blue eyes. In his later years, he could be found visiting with his neighbors from his rocking chair in his garage. He was fondly referred to as the mayor of his street. He battled his illness with true grit and was a gentleman and favorite of his caregivers. His grandchildren were a great source of joy and pride to him and his legacy will live on with them.
Preceding him in death are his wife Cynthia (Kelly) Wulf; his parents; and his brothers, Ronald Wulf and Roger Wulf.
Survivors include his daughters, Michelle Fullen, Megan and husband John Massey all of San Antonio, Texas; his grandchildren, Ryan Fullen, Hayden Fullen, Kennedy Massey, and Gage Massey; his sister, Mary Pat and husband Don Greving of Exira, Iowa; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
