Betty Crozier

Betty Crozier, 90, of Atlantic, Iowa, died September 14, 2015, at the Exira Care Center.

Betty was born at home in Atlantic on October 19, 1924, daughter of John and Estelle (Bornholdt) Lamberty. Betty graduated from Wiota High School in 1941 and married Leonard Crozier on April 26, 1943. They lived on farms around Anita until 1961 when they moved to their farm near Bridgewater. Upon retirement in 1990, Leonard and Betty moved to Atlantic.

Betty enjoyed reading, listening to music, playing her piano, planting flowers and keeping up with the activities of her family.

Survivors include daughters, Connie Anderson of Omaha, NE and Janet Bremholm and her husband Chuck from Katy, TX; four grandsons, Craig Anderson and wife Joyce of Lincoln, NE, Daniel Anderson and wife Tracie of LaVista, NE, Kevin Bremholm and wife Kristin of Katy TX, and Kyle Bremholm and wife Julie of Hurlburt Field, FL; seven great-grandchildren, Macy, Keegan, Andrea, Mitchel and Kierstyn Anderson and Oliver and Adelle Bremholm. Also surviving are her sister and brother-in-law Carolyn and Morris Wilson of Mesa, AZ, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Leonard of 64 years; brothers, John Lamberty Jr. and Cleo Lamberty.

There will be a private family memorial service at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Atlantic Public Library in Betty's name.
