It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Bradley Dean Gary, who left us on August 24, 2026. Born on October 8, 1965 to Charles Gary and Carol Imsiek, in Wichita, Kansas. Bradley lived a life full of adventure, deep love for his family, and a warm presence that touched everyone he met.
Bradley joined the National Guard in his younger years. He was honorably discharged not long after joining due to health problems. His professional journey was as diverse as his interests. Bradley worked at Lloyd & Meredith where he built augers, and later, he embraced the open road as an over-the-road truck driver, sharing the beauty of the United States with his children. As his career evolved, he became the Manager at the Walmart Auto Care Center in Atlantic, Iowa.
Bradley's passions were as vibrant as his spirit. He found joy in riding his beloved Gold Wing motorcycle throughout the year, regardless of the season. An avid outdoorsman, he delighted in fishing, hunting, camping and floating down the river, appreciating the beauty of nature. Known for his signature bib overalls, long hair, and beard, Bradley's unique style was a reflection of his free spirit and authenticity.
Preceding him in death is his father, Charles Gary and his sister, Teresa Williams, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and love. He is survived by his loving mother, Carol Gary, who held a special place in his heart throughout his life, and his brothers, Mark Gary and his wife Nicole; Matthew Gary (Carrie Miles). A devoted father, Bradley leaves behind his children: Stephanie Askey, Jeffrey Askey, Lakota Kilgore, Bradina Gary, and Chelsea Gary. He was a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren: Zachary, Serenity, Christian, Jersey, Destiny, McKenna, Aubrey, Dominic, Devoney, Annabelle, and Gianni, each of whom brought immense joy to his life.
In his final days, Bradley was cared for with great compassion by the staff at Montgomery County Hospital, for which his family is deeply grateful. The family has chosen to honor his life with a private funeral ceremony, cherishing intimate moments of reflection and remembrance.
Bradley Gary's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and resilience. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.
