Brandon Jay “BJ” Frank, age 47, of Atlantic, Iowa passed away on September 19th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Brandon was born on May 6th, 1979, in Atlantic, Iowa, to Alan Frank and Wendy Nodgaard. He attended school in Griswold, Iowa, and would go on to get his GED. Brandon was united in marriage to Ann Milner on June 21st, 2005 in Spencer, Iowa. To this union, Brandon and Ann were blessed with three children, Haylee, Mia, and Aiden.

BJ worked as a long haul truck driver for most of his life. Most recently, he drove for Hansen’s Trucking Company for 8 years. He enjoyed being on the open road and getting to travel, especially to Maine. After his diagnosis, he hung up the truck keys and went on to mow the county parks in Montgomery County.

BJ enjoyed riding/working on his motorcycle, watching birds, and going camping. If you couldn’t find him, he was more than likely out in the garage tinkering on something new. He dreamed of living out his days in his camper, driving from place to place with his family. BJ often helped out his children, whether it be car troubles, needing something hauled, or getting pulled out of a ditch. He always showed up and made sure they were taken care of even when he was states away. BJ was a devoted husband for 21 years, and would often bring Ann treasures from his trips on the road. They enjoyed going on long motorcycle rides together and going wherever the road took them.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Boyd and Georgia (Courcier) Frank; parent, Alan Frank. He is survived by his parent, Wendy Nodgaard and spouse Tim of Atlantic, IA; brother, Zachary Frank of Council Bluffs, IA; wife, Ann Frank of Atlantic, IA; children, Haylee Dunn and husband Frank of Elk Horn, IA, Mia Frank of Elliott, IA, Aiden Frank of Atlantic, IA. He is survived by many other relatives and friends.
