Brittany Husted

Brittany Husted, age 24 of Arlington, TX, died on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Texas Health Harris Methodist in Fort Worth, TX with her family at her side.

Brittany was born on May 6, 1998, in Arlington, Texas. Despite her short life here on Earth Brittany was surrounded by love and affection. Brittany was an angel and a beacon of light. Everywhere we went people were drawn to her. Brittany loved to go to school. She also loved reading, playing flashcards, and puzzles. Brittany went to heaven on October 25. She is now with Grandpa Fred Ehrman, Grandpa Ron Husted, Grandma Mary Husted, and Uncle Bruce Ehrman. We know she is keeping them busy reading and playing.

She is survived by her parents, Doug and Kathy (Ehrman) Husted of Arlington, TX, her grandmother, Delores Ehrman of Anita, Iowa, and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM, Friday, November 4, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anita, IA with burial following at the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita. Visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, November 3 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic and prayers beginning at 7 pm.

The family asks, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to one of the following organizations: The Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, The Children's Heart Foundation, and The National Kidney Foundation in honor of our beloved Brittany.
