Clifton Moore

Clifton Charles Moore, 56, of Adair, Iowa, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017, after a short stay in The Taylor House in Des Moines, IA.

Clif was born September 27, 1960, in Atlantic, Iowa, to Charles R. and Patricia A (Dutton) Moore. Clif grew up in Atlantic where he graduated from the Atlantic High School. After high school, he joined the United States Army where he became a member of the 82nd Airborne. In 1984, after being Honorably Discharged, he made his home west of Atlantic, where on September 30, 1988, he was united in marriage to Christine Solomon. Clif and Christine eventually moved to their home south of Adair, working locally and running a home based, wholesale, fresh organic produce business - "Moorehaven Gardens".

Clif is preceded in death by his wife, Christine; parents and grandparents.

Clifton is survived by his sisters, Michaelle (Moore) Peterson and husband, Rex, of Casey IA and Lynn (Moore) Richter and husband, Rick, of Casey IA; stepfather, Wendell Schmidt of Atlantic IA: and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation will take place at this time and a private family service will be held at a later date.
