Danny James Weber

Mr. Danny Weber, age 68, of Anita, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at The University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Danny James Weber was born on October 12, 1957, in Atlantic, Iowa, to Jim and Lyla (Johnson) Weber. He grew up on a farm in the Norway Center area of Cass County. Danny graduated from Anita High School in 1975. He farmed his entire life, loved his family, farming, cows and calves (who were more like pets), cats, and his dog Dixie, who was his constant companion until her death.

Preceding Danny in death are his Father, Jim Weber, and his Sister, Julie Weber.

Danny is survived by his Mother, Lyla Weber; Sister, Debbie Heiken; Nephew, Chad (Dana) Reed; and Uncle, Donald Weber.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 01, 2025, at Anita United Methodist Church, with Rev. Garry DeGeest officiating. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. Following the interment, a luncheon will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the church.

Visitation with the family will be held one hour before the funeral on Saturday, November 01, at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Danny Weber Family, and they may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50022.
