Douglas David Jacob

Douglas Jacob, 75, of Dedham, IA, passed away at his home on Sunday, Sept 27, 2026.

Doug was born on March 24, 1951, in Anoka, MN to Jake and Gerie Jacob. Doug resided in Anoka, MN where he worked a life of general construction for many years, before moving to Dedham to be near his family. He loved the western way of life, hunting, and animals.

Doug is survived by his daughter, Justin (Jon) Bauer, and 3 grandchildren, Isabella, Eliza, and Loretta Bauer. He is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Jacob and parents Jake and Gerie Jacob.

No formal services will be held. Interment will take place at Viola Township Cemetery in Audubon County.
