Elijah Karas

Elijah Joseph Karas, infant son of Clinton and Natalie Karas of Oakland, Iowa, was born and went to live with the angels on Saturday, October 17, 2009.


Elijah Joseph Karas is survived by his parents, Clinton and Natalie Karas, and his brother, Evan Karas, all of Oakland, Iowa; his grandparents, Larry and Louise Erdahl of Champlin, Minnesota; and Doyle and Cheryl Karas of Cumberland, Iowa; his great-grandparents, Fran La Croix of New Hope, Minnesota, and Gerald and Evelyn Karas of Massena, Iowa; his aunt, Melanie (Jeff) Cleveland of Fridley, Minnesota; his uncle, Justin Karas of Omaha, Nebraska; and many other relatives and family friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Howard and Dorothy Bane, Elmer and Franklyn Erdahl, and Louis and Elaine La Croix.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Oakland Christian Church (DOC) in Oakland, Iowa, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
