Elisabeth DeKemnr was born December 30, 1914, in Buggenhout, Belgium, the daughter of Pete and Jeanette DeKemnr and passed away Friday, September 3, 2010, at the Exira Care Center in Exira, Iowa.

Surviving her is her husband, Theothil "Phil" Van Buggenhout of Adair.

Her body has been donated to the University Of Iowa College Of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. No services will be held.

Hockenberry Funeral Home in Adair is in charge of arrangements.
