Mr. Gordon Dean Buswell, age 75, of Audubon, IA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at his home in Audubon, IA.

Public visitation with the family will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a brief funeral service at 11:00 a.m on Monday, July 20, 2026, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Audubon, IA. A luncheon will be held following the services at the St. Patrick's Catholic Parish Hall in Audubon, IA.

A family graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Ferguson Cemetery in Lake View, IA.

Memorials may be directed to the Buswell Family for later designation and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 201, Audubon, IA 50025.
