She passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at The Josie Harper House in Omaha, Nebraska.
Jacklin is survived by her brothers, John (Diane) Staples of Carroll, Iowa and Gary (Pat) Staples of Carroll, Iowa, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Yvonne.
A private burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon, Iowa, at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society in memory of Jacklin and can be mailed in care of Schmidt Family Funeral Home to P.O. Box 201 Audubon, Iowa 50025.
