Jean Gearheart, age 98 of Atlantic, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the Exira Care Center.
Jean was born on August 5, 1927, in Atlantic, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas and Ethel (Paulson) Brindley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd; son Timothy Mark and son-in-law, Andrew Fredrickson.
Left to cherish Jean’s memory is her daughter, Nancy Fredrickson; sons, David (Lori) Gearheart and Robert (Shannon) Gearheart; grandchildren: Thomas (Kerri) Fredrickson, Nikayla (Matt) Wilmers, Lisa (Jake) Johnson, Jordan (Corey) Fowble, Benton (Mark) Maas and Matthew (Alysa) Gearheart and great grandchildren: Aiden Fredrickson, Brody, Evelyn, and Madison Wilmers and Allie Mae Johnson, Rowyn and Lawson Fowble.
Per Jean’s wishes, no services are planned.
