Judith Bolton

Judith "Judy" I. (Hamilton) Bolton, 79, of Grain Valley, Missouri, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 19, 2019.

Judy was born to Charles "CJ" Hamilton and Ruby (Jensen) Hamilton on March 26, 1940, in Iowa City, Iowa. She graduated from East High in Des Moines, IA, in 1958. Judy married Richard Bolton on May 5, 1963, and they lived together in Atlantic, Iowa. Together they raised 2 sons.

Judy worked hard at home raising her two boys and encouraged them in their various activities when they were young. She was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and faithful supporter of the Cass County Family Crisis. Judy was a member of and served as a board member at the First Presbyterian Church in Atlantic, Iowa. Judy enjoyed spending time playing with her grandchildren, reading books and crafting. She was an avid quilter and made many beautiful quilts.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Ruby Hamilton, and younger sister Crystal.

She is survived by her loving husband Richard; and sons, Jonathan Bolton, of Grain Valley and Jason Bolton and his wife Stephanie of Independence; and grandchildren Joel Bolton, Quincy Bolton, Amelia Bolton, Molly Bolton and Titus Bolton. She also leaves to cherish her memory to her 4 siblings and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on November 2, 2019, at 4 PM. The family will greet family and friends from 3:00-4:00 PM. The visitation and service will be held at Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Blue Springs, MO.
