Judy Ann Yaw, 76, of Anita, Iowa passed away on February 14, 2021, at Caring Acres Nursing and Rehab Center in Anita, Iowa. She was born July 15, 1944, to Rex Caldwell and Margaret Louise Howard. Judy was raised on a farm in Guthrie County with her brother Gary and sister Debbie.

Judy Howard married Everett Williamson in 1967 and to that union came 4 sons: Richard, Ronnie, Russell and Roger Williamson. After moving back to Anita and the boys went to school, Judy ran DJ’s Café in Anita and worked at Delong’s in Atlantic, Iowa, until they closed. Judy met and married Howard Butch Yaw and moved to Shannon City, Iowa. Judy worked at Winnebago until retirement and bought a house in Creston, Iowa, after Butch passed away. Judy eventually moved back to Anita and made her home there until she passed away.

Judy loved western music and Indian pictures that she displayed at her homes. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, where she was able to show off her great cooking skills, especially the traditional morning biscuits and gravy. She loved playing Bingo and slipping over to the Casinos with Mary Williamson at all times of the night. She loved games on her I-Pad and enjoyed sitting outside and just taking in the view. Judy also loved the friends that she made during her stay at Caring Acres and all the good conversations that she had with them.

She is survived by her three sons: Ronnie Williamson of Atlantic, Iowa, Good Friend Mary Williamson of Creston, Iowa, and their children, Cinnamon Williamson of Las Vegas, Nevada, Nikki (fiancé Ansley Page) Williamson of Orient, Iowa, and Parker Williamson of Missouri. Rusty (Tami) Williamson of Anita and their children, Austin and Tanner Williamson of Anita, Iowa. Roger (Michele) Williamson of Ontario, Canada, and children Kristina of Minnesota, Cody and Chloe of Lincoln, Nebraska.
