Justin Allen Knutsen

Justin Allen Knutsen, age 37, of Cumberland, IA, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 09, 2024, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home of Atlantic, IA. At a later date, private interment will take place at Brighton Township Cemetery near Marne, IA.

Justin was born on November 1, 1986, in Omaha, NE, the son of Bonnie Knutsen of Cumberland, IA. He grew up in the Lewis and Griswold area, attending Griswold Schools and graduating in 2005. Justin enjoyed spending time with family, reading books, fishing, and playing crossword puzzles. His favorite companion was his dog May-May.

Preceded in death are his grandparents, Mads and Vernice Knutsen.

Justin is survived by his mother, Bonnie of Cumberland, and a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Their love and support have been a source of strength during this difficult time.

Memorials may be directed to the Knutsen Family in his honor. They will be designated at a later date and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50023.
