Kathleen Flair

Kathleen R. Flair, 70, of rural Harlan, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at her brother's home in rural Atlantic, Iowa.

Kathleen was born October 18, 1947, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Arthur and Anna (Harmsen) Gardner. She attended school in Griswold, Iowa, graduating with the class of 1965.

She was married to Larry Flair until his death in 1983. She then spent many years with her dear friend, Lars Larson.

Kathleen spent her career years as a bookkeeper for various businesses. She loved cats and dogs and had many as pets over the years, missing each and every one of them.

Preceding her in death were her mother and father, and her brothers, Robert Gardner and Richard Gardner.

Kathleen is survived by her sister, Delores Olsen of Newberry, FL; her brother, Steve Gardner and his wife, Jan, of Atlantic, IA; four cats; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life visitation will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Hockenberry Family Care in Atlantic, Iowa.
