Kim Alden Black

Kim Alden Black, the son of Roland and Janice (Johnson) Black was born March 28, 1957, in Audubon, Iowa and died February 14, 2022, at his home in Exira, Iowa at the age of 64 years, 10 months and 16 days.

Kim’s passion was spending time with his family, his dog Lucy and riding his motorcycle.

Preceding him in death was his parents; his brother Brett Black; and his sister DeEtte Black.

Survivors include his best friend Lucy; partner Susie Simpson; daughter Candace and husband Justin Welch of Des Moines, Iowa; his grandsons, Cooper Nolan and Leif Welch both of Des Moines, Iowa; his sisters and brother: Colette Muhr of Exira, Iowa, Lanette Black of Audubon, Iowa and Scott Black of Hamlin, Iowa; his companion Lucy; his sister-in-law Dawn Black of Des Moines, Iowa; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends.

Per Kim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and services are scheduled at this time.
