Lillian Frances Wilson, 77, of Adair, Iowa, died Friday, March 4, 2016, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Lillian was born November 12, 1938, in Swan, Iowa, to Russell Glenn and Daisy Carol (Reeves) Phillips. She lived in the Swan and Pleasantville area until age 10 when she moved with her parents to the Anita area. Lillian attended and graduated from the Anita High School in 1957. On May 18, 1957, she was married to Ronald Wilson in the Central Church of Christ in Anita. They lived in Anita until 1969, at which time they moved to Adair, Iowa. Lillian was a day care provider in her home in Adair for 15 years.

She was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Anita, Iowa, the American Legion Auxiliary Post #210 and the Eastern Star. Lillian enjoyed playing bingo, video games and puzzles. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening, was an excellent baker, and loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, R. Glenn and Daisy Carol Phillips; a granddaughter, Tori Barker; parents-in-law, LeRoy and Anna Wilson; and a sister-in-law, Joan Phillips.

Lillian is survived by her husband, Ronald Wilson of Adair, IA; daughters, Ronda (Lonny) Barker of Casey, IA, and Becky (Danny) Claussen of Adair, IA; a son, Russ (Tammy) Wilson of Adair, IA; foster daughters, Jamaica (Mike) Reed of Adair, IA and Keisha Nguyen (Jacob Watson) of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren, Elizabeth Barker, T.J. Claussen, Benjamin Wilson, Courtney Claussen, Jake Reed, Josh Reed, Austin Nguyen, Keira Reed, William Watson and Annabelle Watson; brothers, Larry (Mary Lou) Phillips and Jim (Donna) Phillips both of Anita, IA; nieces, Michelle (Don) Cave of Marcus, IA and Teresa (Steve) Cole of Rochester, MN and a nephew, Scott (Candi) Phillips of Minneapolis, MN.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2016, at Hockenberry Family Care in Anita, IA.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Hockenberry Family Care in Anita, IA.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Casey, IA, at a later date.

Memorials are preferred to the family's wishes.
