Margaret Jensen

Margaret Stella Jensen, 87, was born July 30, 1924, in Atlantic, Iowa, and passed away Monday, September 12, 2011, at the Atlantic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Atlantic, Iowa.

On March 11, 1945, she married Alvin "Glen" Jensen in Omaha, Nebraska. Margaret worked as a housekeeper at the Atlantic Nursing Home. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Atlantic.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Jensen; her parents; her son-in-law, Terry Beaty; and her sister, Lucille.


She is survived by her daughters, Connie Beaty and Linda (Steve) Christensen both of Atlantic; her grandchildren, Tiana (Ryan) Houser, Devin Beaty, Dicey (Jason) Trotter, Michella (Ben) Bartholomew and Kenny (Crystal) Christensen all of Atlantic; and her great-grandchildren, Tye and Lee Houser of Atlantic, Allyson Beaty of Anita, Jyden, Mia and Lexie Trotter, and Bodie and Clevi Johnson, all of Atlantic.

Private family graveside services will be held at the Atlantic Cemetery.
