Margie Morgan

Margie S. Morgan, 69, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2006, at Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic.
Margie Sue Morgan was born June 2, 1937, in DeBerry, Texas, the daughter of William and Lorene (Arrington) Sessums.
She was a 1955 graduate of the Bird High School in Shreveport, Louisiana.
On June 5, 1955, Margie married Billie E. Morgan in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Margie worked for Partners and Cass Mutual Insurance in Atlantic for 32 years.
She was a member of the Does, Drove #23, Atlantic, as well as a member of the Nishna Hills Ladies Association, also in Atlantic.
Margie is survived by her husband, Bill Morgan of Atlantic, Iowa; her son, Doug Morgan, daughter, LeeAnn Hansen and her husband, Bruce of Atlantic, Iowa; her granddaughter, Christina Sue Hansen of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and her grandson, Brett Austin Hansen of Atlantic, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lorene Sessums; a sister, Betty Sessums; and her mother and father-in-law, Wes and Vera Morgan.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at the Atlantic Cemetery, with the Reverend Chuck Smith of the Atlantic First Baptist Church officiating.
Cremation has taken place and no visitation is scheduled.
Hockenberry Family Care in Atlantic is in charge of the arrangements.
