Merle Hansen, age 98 of Brayton, IA, died on Monday, September 1, 2025, at Cass Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, IA.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Monday, September 8th, 2025, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Exira, Iowa with Rev. Loren Christensen officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakfield Cemetery near Brayton, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will be from 9 am till the time of services at the funeral home on Monday. A luncheon will be held following the committal service at the Bryton Town Hall in Brayton, Iowa.
Memorials can be made in his name to the Oakfield Cemetery and may be left or mailed to the funeral home at PO Box 523 - Atlantic, IA.
