Michael Dawson

Michael Dale Dawson of Anita, Iowa, finished his earthly course on Friday, May 3, 2019, at 66 years of age.

He is survived by his daughters, Nicole Adams and Abbey Cromer (Wes); his grandchildren, Easton Adams, Marley Adams, Olivia Cromer, Natalie Cromer, Caitlin Cromer and Will Cromer; his sister, Kelly Flud; and one niece and four nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Marjorie; and his sister, Tonia Kemper.

Mike was born and raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was a resident of Des Moines and Anita as well. He was a longtime employee at Anderson Erickson Dairy. Throughout his life he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and bowling. Some of Mike’s other pastimes included playing horseshoes, hunting, cooking, listening to music, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, KC Chiefs and Chicago Cubs.

One thing Mike never tired of was making those around him laugh. His humor and giving heart will be greatly missed.

Michael's wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
