Nancy Mcneese

Nancy Joe Dasher was born February 14, 1944, the daughter of Otis and Grace (Shaw) Dasher in Cass County, Iowa, and passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic.

She attended school in Elliot, Iowa, and graduated from Atlantic High School. Nancy obtained a diploma in Practical Nursing from Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was employed as a LPN at the Cass County Memorial Hospital, Atlantic Nursing and Rehab Center and the State of Iowa traveling with the WIC Clinic. On December 23, 1986, Nancy married Randy McNeese in Atlantic, Iowa. Nancy loved flower gardening and painting ceramics in her spare time.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Judy Weber; and her brothers, Mark Dasher and Buddy Dasher.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Randy McNeese of Lewis; her children, Brian (Tiffany) Swagel of Atlantic, Jeffery (Sandy) Swagel of Colorado, Darla (Tim) Christensen of Oregon and Dusty (Tanya) Swagel of Red Oak; her step-children, Tonia McNeese of California and Christopher McNeese
of Lewis; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Ellen (Glen) Olsen of Atlantic and Jane Cook of Washington; her brother, Dennis Dasher of Corning; other relatives and friends.

A private family memorial service will be held in the spring of 2014, when the flowers are in bloom.
