Oakley Ann Weisenborn

Oakley Ann Weisenborn, the infant daughter of Terry and Jennifer (Nissen) Weisenborn, was born January 25, 2016 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa and passed away January 26, 2016 at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines. During Oakley’s short stay here on Earth, she touched many lives and was deeply loved by her family.
Oakley was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Eugene and Kathryn Hansen, Belmond and Theresa Nissen, Fred and Lura Weisenborn, and Clifford and Ella Nicholson.
Survivors include: her parents Terry and Jennifer Weisenborn of Exira, Iowa; her brothers Hayden Weisenborn of Exira and Caleb Weisenborn of Omaha, Nebraska; her grandparents Allan and Julie Nissen of Exira and Don and Delores Weisenborn of Sac City, Iowa; her aunts and uncles Jill and Glen Cornell of Windsor Heights, Iowa, Jaime and Cole Christensen of Hamlin, Iowa, David and Arline Weisenborn of Jacksonville, Florida, Steven and Nancy Weisenborn of Carroll, Iowa; her cousins Nora Cornell and Lily Cornell both of Windsor Heights, Tatum Christensen and Reid Christensen both of Hamlin, Jeff and Lena Weisenborn of Urbandale, Iowa, and Jay Weisenborn and fiancée Amy Tasler both of Carroll, other relatives and friends of the family.
A private family service will be conducted by Pastor Bruce Crane on February 6, 2016 at the Kessler Funeral Home in Exira. Interment will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Kimballton, Iowa.
