Paul Watson

Paul Francis Watson, 88, passed away at the Heritage House in Atlantic, Iowa, on Saturday, June 25, 2010. He was born May 25, 1922, in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Paul was a graduate of Holy Name High School in Omaha, Nebraska, and immediately joined the U.S. Air Force, having 1 ½ years of service stateside and 2 ½ years overseas duty. He was employed by Walnut Grove retiring from there in 1976.

Paul is survived by his wife, Marjorie of Atlantic, IA; his seven children, Doni (Mike) Mathis, Bob (Linda) Watson, Susan (Jay) O'Shea, Jim (Ann) Watson, Danise Wylie, Dan (Susan) Watson and Christine Watson; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Blake and Edna Watson; 3 sisters, Hazel, Dorothy and Patty; and 2 brothers, Blake Jr. and Bob Watson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Hockenberry Family Care Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa. The family invites you to join them for lunch and a time for visiting following the memorial service.
