Pauline Dreager

Pauline Anna Dreager, 95, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Friday, January 13, 2016, at Atlantic Specialty Care in Atlantic, Iowa.

Pauline was born July 13, 1921, in Lewis, Iowa, to Robert and Martha (Knop) Dreager. She was baptized in September of 1921 and confirmed in April of 1936 at Zion Lutheran Church in Atlantic. Pauline graduated from the Wiota High School in 1940.

She worked in the office at Camblin Plumbing & Heating in Atlantic for 41 years.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Atlantic, where she had been active as a youth in the Walther League. Pauline was also active in the Golden Years Club, the Faith and Love Circles and on the Altar Guild.

Pauline enjoyed her pinochle groups, embroidery, working word search puzzles and the time she spent assisting in the counting of the church donations.

She was predeceased by her parents, and her brother and his wife, Lloyd and Ruth Ann Dreager.

Those surviving Pauline are her niece, Diane (Robert) Voss of Ashland, NE; nephews, Duane (Karen) Dreager of Nodaway, IA and Donald (Dawn) Dreager of Atlantic, IA; great-nieces/nephews, Teresa (Kevin) Hyda of Omaha, NE, Brenda Lynn of Ashland, NE, John Dreager of Scottsdale, AZ, Melissa (Brian) Mintle of Grinnell, IA, Joseph (Emily) Dreager of San Diego, CA, Dawson Dreager, Derek Dreager, Dustin Dreager and Dayna Dreager all of Atlantic, IA; and other great-great-grandnieces/nephews.

Visitation with family will be from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m., on Friday, January 20, 2017, with funeral services at 10:30 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church in Atlantic, IA.

Burial will be in the Atlantic Cemetery.

Memorials may be left to the families wishes.
