Raymond Coglon

Raymond Eugene Coglon was born to Ray and Lena (Rabe) Coglon on November 30,1932. He passed away on the morning of January 1, 2026. He attended Greeley #9 Country School. After his father passed away, Raymond began farming with his mother. He was drafted into the Army; but was discharged to return home to farm.

Raymond lived on the farm all his life. He raised Shorthorn cattle. He owned a Mercury Cyclone and a Chevy pickup. He took his 50 Packard out to ride around the section every so often.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers from complications from Muscular Dystrophy, two nephews, and his brother-in-law, Stanley Jones. He is survived by his sister, Gertrude Jones of Harlan and her daughter, Donita Miller also of Harlan.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 06, 2026, at the Exira Cemetery.
