Scott Dale Woolsey, age 45 was welcomed into Heaven by all his relatives that preceded him in Death.
Scott was born September 25, 1979, in Atlantic, Iowa to Steven & Roxanne (Juhl) Woolsey. After Scott learned to talk he never met a stranger, and if you were a stranger, you weren’t after talking to him. He considered you, his friend.
Scott attended school in Atlantic and participated in football & wrestling in junior & senior high school. He was currently employed by Conductix in Harlan.
Scott was an avid hunter & fisherman often asking his mother to get up early to sit in the deer stand with him to watch the sunrise over God’s creation. He always told her it was the most serene & calming part of his day. He loved working on racecars, especially for Lonn Schlueter, Jason O’Brien & Willie Ransom. He loved working on & riding motorcycles. If you ever found him sitting it was to watch the Texas Longhorns (Hook ‘em) and the Iowa Hawkeyes men’s wrestling team or writing poetry. He loved cooking, especially BBQ. He considered his children his greatest life accomplishment and loved them deeply.
Scott is survived by his children, Kydie Ann Woolsey and her children, Lennix Scott and Axel Dean all of Harlan, Iowa and Cooper Brent Woolsey of Atlantic, Iowa; parents, Steve and Roxanne Woolsey of Atlantic, Iowa; sister, Stephanie Juhl of Des Moines, Iowa; niece, Jacey Light (Tanner) and their son, Asher of Des Moines, Iowa; his fiancé, Jaime Jenkins of Persia, Iowa and her children, Riley, Addisyn & Josey.
