Mrs. Susan Jean Erickson, age 63, of Atlantic, IA, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Cass Health in Atlantic, IA.

Susan J. Erickson, beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and adored great-grandmother. She was born on September 23, 1960, to her loving parents and was preceded in death by her mother Mary.

Sue will be deeply missed by her father, James, and his wife Carol; her loving husband, Jim; her devoted daughters. Dezma (CW) and Clarissa (Josh); her grandchildren, Alyssa (Kody), Chelsea (Eli), CJ (Miranda), Shianne (Ramon), Ellie, Jackson; and her great-grandchildren Landon, William, Aria, Rhett, Silas, Spencer, Theo, Scarlett.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength that will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Sue's kindness, love, and unwavering strength will continue to inspire those who know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be treasured for generations to come. May she rest in eternal peace.

Per Sue's wishes, a cremation will take place at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic, and a celebration of life gathering with a luncheon will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic.
