VerDene F. Bramer, age 92, of Perry, IA, formerly of Audubon, IA, passed away on Monday, January 02, 2023, at Dallas County Hospital in Perry, IA.
VerDene was born July 29, 1930 in Anita, Iowa to Hans and Clara Andersen. VerDene had one brother, JaVien Johnson.
VerDene attended school in Elkhorn where she met the love of her life Kenneth Bramer. The two were married June 18, 1949 before Kenneth headed off to the Korean War. They had five beautiful children: twins Marlene and Marlys who died at infancy, Jana (Tom) Brader, Lori Bertrum and Alan Bramer. In 1971 the family moved to Audubon, Iowa.
VerDene grew up a typical farm girl. She loved fishing, card games but mostly spending time with her family. She was amazingly proud of all the grand children’s accomplishments and spending time with all the great grand children. VerDene was also a die hard Chicago Cubs fan, collecting and watching cardinals, and practicing her painting skills with Bob Ross.
Proceeding her death is her twin daughters Marlys and Marlene, husband Kenneth, daughter Jana, daughter Lori, and grand children Aaron, Jill, Kevin and great grand child Tymond
VerDene is survived by her son Alan Bramer, 10 grand children and 16 great grand children.
Graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on January 11, 2023 in Elkhorn, Iowa/
The Family of Mrs. Bramer appreciate the many expressions of sympathy and concern.
