Vicki Brawdy

Vicki Lynn Brawdy, 78, of Atlantic, IA, (& formerly of Griswold), passed away peacefully on April 5th, 2024, surrounded by her children and grandchildren at Heritage House in Atlantic, IA.

Vicki was born on Feb 19, 1946, to Harold Toepfor and Anna Mae Scott in Lewis IA, where she attended high school.

Vicki worked at Heritage House for 34 years before retiring, making many work friends who became like family to her. Vicki always made sure that her work family had plenty of cookies and everyone had a birthday cake on their special day.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Anna Mae Toepfer, her husband Vernon (Butch) Brawdy, a sister, Patricia Van Buren, Anchorage, AK, her brother Harold "Skip" Toepfer of Audubon, IA, and brother Donald "Doc" Toepfer of Colorado.

Vicki is survived by her children, daughter Sydney Lounsbury, Anchorage, AK, son Vincent Pearce (Arlene) of San Diego, CA, daughter Kristie Malcom (Tim) of Irwin IA, son Patrick Brawdy (Kim) of Red Oak, IA, and daughter Sara Andersen (Mike) of Atlantic IA, 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; sister, Sandy Tye of Griswold, Ia and numerous nieces and nephews that were dear to her heart.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for friends and family.
